Force Motors To Update Trax With More Luxury

Force Motors recently launched the Force One premium SUV. The new SUV is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine sourced from Mercedes-Benz. Following the success of the Force One the company wants to add another passenger vehicle in its line-up in the form of the new Trax. The Trax is famous for its rugged build and reliable performance.
The Trax is a true Indian people carrier as it can carry at least a dozen people comfortable. It has been used extensively by taxi operators around hilly regions for its ability to handle rough terrains. The only recurring complaint against the Force Trax is its ride comfort. If it's updates make it more comfortable and the design is made more appealing, the Trax will definitely find its way in to homes of people with large families.
Prasad Firodia, the MD of Force Motors has said: “The Trax has, so far, been more for commercial applications and is engineered accordingly. The new Trax will be designed for comfort and premium appeal. It will be come with the BS IV-compliant OM616 engine with a two-valve CRDI system."
Force Motors can expect more sales of the Tempo Trax, as it is famously known, once the new version in launched in 2012. It will be competing against the recently launched new Bolero from Mahindra. Force currently sells about 700 units of the Trax per month.
