Maruti Suzuki Releases Official Images of Swift

Maruti Suzuki, India's leading carmaker has continued its publicity blitz before the launch of the Swift hatchback. There has been a heightened consumer interest in the new Swift and the carmaker is keeping its cards close to its chest. Maruti has released just one picture of a red Swift. The image shows a red swift with improved and spacious interiors and the exterior look clearly indicates the size of the Swift has increased.

The highly anticipated new Swift is slightly larger than its predecessor due to which it will have more leg room. The carmaker has tweaked the car's engine so that it generates more power and torque while consuming less fuel. The new Swift also gets a plastic fuel tank that will help in reducing the car's weight, thus aiding fuel economy.

The new Swift will be unveiled on August 17th. To understand the kind of interest consumers have on this new model we must know the number of bookings the Swift has received even before its launch. We had earlier reported that Maruti Suzuki had received more than 38,000 bookings ten day's prior to its launch.
