Audi To Show 3 New Models In Delhi Auto Expo
Audi which is aiming to become India's second highest selling luxury carmaker has said this year is expected to display the A3 sedan, Q3 premium mini SUV and the S6 premium limousine. Audi is keen to increase its presence in India as it has already witnessed a 85 per cent increase in sales this year.
The Audi Q3 has been sensational in the international auto markets. Offering the power and performance of a sedan, the Q3 has the road presence of an SUV. It is smaller than the Q5 but has the same engines, making it a more sporty package.
The A3 sedan will be a mid size sedan with premium features. It will compete agains the BMW 3-Series and the Mercedes-C-Class. The S^ is a premium limousine and will be in league with the BMW 7-Series and the Mercedes-S-Class.
Audi India chief while elaborating on the carmaker's plans for the Delhi Auto Expo said: “ India stands next to important Audi markets such as China and USA, and is poised to become a bigger volume generator. Keeping in mind the bigger potential, we will also showcase some new vehicles and technology new options for our customer as we plan to maintain our lead in sales growth next year too."
