Rolls Royce Launches Longer, Better Ghost

Rolls-Royce always has this tradition of launching a extended wheel base version of all its sedans. The Phantom, the carmaker's flagship model is also available in the EWB form. The EWB Ghost is slightly longer than the regular Ghost and offers more space for the rear passenger.
The LWB Ghost will be powered by the same 6.6-litre petrol engine that powers the regular Ghost. Rolls-Royce said it launched the LWB Ghost in India after it found luxury car sales increasing steadily. The British carmaker is hopeful the new EWB Ghost will dominate its sales herein India.
Rolls-Royce India Business Development Head Herfried Hasenoehrl is hopeful that one in every three cars sold by the company will be the EWB Ghost. Although he did not specify any particular sales target, he said the EWB Ghost will satisfy the needs of high end luxury car buyers.
Rolls-Royce managed to sell 80 cars in the previous financial year and is expecting to better its performance this year. The carmaker intends to expand its network in India as it believes India has emerged as one of the important markets in Asia. Rolls-Roy e has two showrooms, one each in New Delhi and in Mumbai. It is yet unclear how many new showrooms will be opened.
