New Maserati SUV To Be Launched At Frankfurt

Maserati SUV
Maserati, the Italian sports carmaker will move out of its comfort zone of building sports cars and sporty sedans by unveiling a new SUV at the prestigious Frankfurt Motors Show. The Fiat owned Maserati is famous for building coupes and sports sedans such as the GranTurismo, GranCabrio and Quattroporte.

Following Fiat's acquisition of Chrysler early last year moves to widen Maserati's product line-up began with plans to use a Chrysler platform to build an SUV. Although the Maserati SUV has been built on the same platform that has been used in Chrysler's Jeep Grand Cherokee, Itr retains the Maserati look with its classic grille and aerodynamic design.

It will be powered by a Maserati V8 petrol engine and its power figures are not available yet.
Maserati will be unveiling its SUV at Frankfurt on 13th. We believe this new SUV will offer a challenge to established luxury SUVs such as the Porsche Cayenne, Audi Q7 and the BMW X5.
