Hyundai Motors has said the Eon will redefine the idea of a small car with its low price, high space and features. The Eon is being touted as a car that will take the place of the Maruti 800 which is being phased out slowly. Hyundai is hoping the Eon will make a dent in its closest competitor, Maruti Suzuki's market share.
The Hyundai Eon is expected to be priced just over RS.2 lakhs and is aimed at India's best selling car, Maruti Suzuki's Alto. The Eon will be Hyundai Motor's fourth small car. Designed under the project name H800, the latest small car from Hyundai has impressed everyone who has had a look at it. Bookings have already started at Hyundai showrooms with a booking amounts ranging from Rs.10,000 to Rs.25,000.
