Mclaren Mega Mac
The world of super cars and hyper cars is a very competitive one. Carmakers tend to push themselves to the limit to extract the best out of their cars. The huge cost associated with the development of the Bugatti Veyron is something that has become a legend in automotive circles. Believe it or not, Volkswagen, Bugatti's owner still makes losses for every Veyron it sells despite the Veyron's price tag of over RS.16 crores!

Here is another car that will set tongues wagging with its performance and no this car is not coming from Bugatti but from McLaren, the British carmaker famous for its involvement with Formula 1 racing and the McLaren F1, the world's first true hyper car. McLaren which is now selling the MP4 12C sports car is reportedly developing a hyper car that will compete with the Bugatti Veyron.

According to reports, the new McLaren is being called as the Mega Mac. The development of the Mega Mac is so advanced that McLaren has already started track testing of the hyper car. The Mega Mac is being touted as the F1's successor and will be powered by a 5 litre engine that develops 800bhp and 600Nm of torque.

Such awesome will definitely mean super car like performance. The car has reportedly reached 100kmph from zero in under 3 seconds. The Mega Mac which will have a body made entirely of carbon fibre will be very light6 and any speed will not be too far from it.

McLaren will reportedly make the Mega Mac a limited edition model with just 500 units being built in its entire production cycle. This will not only make the car unique but also keep its price high. Sources say the price of the car will be well over one million pounds.
