Jaguar Unveils New XF, Bookings Open

Jaguar, the luxury car brand has launched its new facelift XF luxury sedan in India. The new model will soon hit Jaguar showrooms in India and bookings are open from today. The Tata Motors owned British luxury carmaker is keen to make a dash in the Indian market before the end of this year by launching the XF earlier than expected.

Jaguar was so far selling the previous version while it had already launched the face lifted XF in Europe and America. A European luxury car is usually launched in India only after demand in Europe and the USA is handled. However,m with Tata Motors as its owner, Jaguar considers India its second home and is now concentrating on the subcontinent.

The new Jaguar XF will be slightly more expensive than its predecessor. It will be powered by a three litre diesel engine and two petrol engines. The XF's petrol engine will be a five litre air breathing engine while the more sporty XFR will get a turbocharged petrol engine.
