Janardhan Reddy And His Luxury Car Collection
Cars have been Janardhan Reddy's biggest indulgences. Who owns an enviable collection of cars which include models from Luxury car makers too. Topping this lost of cars owned by Janardhan Reddy is the Rolls Royce Phantom. This Rs.4.5 crore luxury car was delivered to the minister oin 2009.It offers a stately ride and performance. Not known for speed or agility, the RR Phantom is more about an effortless ride and grand style.
Other luxury cars owned by Mr Reddy includes an imported Volkswagen, a Mercedes-Benz limousine, an Audi and a fleet of Mitsubishi Pajeros. Mr Reddy also owns more than a dozen Indian built cars. All these cars are parked in a specially built car park and each of them have dedicated staff appointed for their upkeep.
It was very easy to identify Janardhana Reddy's entourage around bellary as it usually included more than a dozen cars. One of them would be an imported luxury car that carried Mr Reddy while the rest would be SUVs carrying his assistants and security officials.
A resident of Bellary on condition of anonymity said: “G Janardhana Reddy's craze for cars is known to all. The mining baron has several imported cars in his stable. His car garage reminds us of Telugu film stars who are known to own several imported and luxury cars. Mr Reddy is known to have travelled in huge convoys of SUVs very much similar to scenes from Telugu action movies.
