X-Trail Gets 10 New Features For Special Show

The new X-Trail also marks Nissan's participation in a new adventure reality TV show in National Geographic channel. The TV Show called as the X-treme Trail focuses on the driving prowess of eight drivers who compete against each other. The program will see these people driving X-trails across some of the most difficult terrains available in India.
The drivers will have to tackle the sand dunes of the Thar desert in Rajasthan and also handle the slippery slopes of the Himalayas. The program is a tough test of character as well as skill. This will also highlight the all terrain capabilities of the Nissan X-Trail to its fullest levels.
The drivers competing in this adventure will have to go through several off-road activities that will be telecast across eight episodes. The drivers will get to drive this special edition X-Trail that comes with new features that are listed below.

The rest of the technical specification of the X-trail remain the same. It is powered by the same two-litre M9R common rail turbo diesel engine capable of churning out 150bhp and 320Nm of torque. Buyers can opt for a six speed manual gear box or an automatic version with six cogs. The special edition X-trail is priced at Rs.22.78 lakhs (ex showroom Delhi).
