Mahindra To Reopen XUV 500 Bookings In January

Mahindra has announced that it will soon re-open bookings of the XUV 500. Bookings are expected to open in January. The SUV specialist has said it was in the process of increasing production at its plant in Chakan and will soon open bookings in new centres. Mahindra had opened bookings of the XUV 500 in just five centres and it sold out its entire production.
Following the high public response to the XUV 500, the carmaker has said it will ramp up production further. The Global SUV is yet to go global as the demand form the local market is yet to come down. We believe even the second round of bookings will see the same if not increased levels of enthusiasm from buyers as people who have seen the SUV on the roads have been thoroughly impressed by its design and appearance.
Another reason for increased interest in the fresh round of bookings should be the possibility of increased taxes on diesel cars in the forthcoming budget. This tax will make cars such as the XUV 500 more expensive and people would like to pay less for a car during these tough economic times. So if you are some one who wishes to buy Mahindra's global SUV, be prepared to rush to Mahindra showrooms or miss the opportunity to own one of the most sophisticated Indian SUVs.
Mahindra has acknowledged the support of the internet media and social media for boosting the image of the XUV 500. The XUV 500's Facebook fan page already has more than one lakh fans. Further more than one lakh people witnessed the launch of the XUV 500 online.
