Lamborghini Launches Aventador At Rs. 3.69 Crores
The Aventador is a sports car that is by far the most powerful, stylish and crazy car built by Lamborghini. The new car replaces the Murciealgo, another car that took performance levels to new heights when it was launched. The Aventador will be available with a starting price of Rs.3.69 crore (ex showroom, Delhi). The price might appear to be steep but Lamborghini has already sold 11 of them!
The Aventador like all flagship Lamborghinis is powered by a V12 engine. It is named after a famous Spanish Bull that took part in a legendary bull fight in 1993. While all previous flagships from the Italian carmaker strived to get faster and faster, the Aventador is slightly different as Lamborghini has tried to improve the car's dynamics and handling instead of concentrating on brute speed. This does not mean this new car is not fast. It can head to a mind boggling top speed of 342kmph.
The Aventador is quick of the mark too with a 0 to 100kmph sprint in just 2.9 seconds. The all powerful V12 engine is capable of generating 700bhp and is mated to a seven speed automatic gearbox. This gear box can shift gears within 50 milliseconds making the driving experience more maddening than usual.
Such speed and performance will require top notch stopping power too. This is provided by large 400mm 6-caliper front and 380mm 4-caliper disk brakes. The power from the engine is traditional Lamborghini style is sent to all four wheels adding to the sport car's grip. The Aventador gets standard 19 inch alloy wheels for the front and 20 inchers for the rear.
The Aventador is also adorned by useful gadgets such as a seven inch multimedia system and satnav. The exterior is adorned by large side intakes, a rear spoiler and xenon headlights.
