Ford Adds More Features To Figo!

It would be a lie if we say Ford has been been successful in India without the help of the Figo. In fact the Figo can be credited with improving Ford's image as well as sales within a short span of time. The Figo has achieved so much thanks to its responsive engine, good looks and low maintenance.

However the Figo's position in the market can be under threat considering the arrival of several new rivals. These rivals include the Toyota Etios Liva,Honda Brio, Hyundai i20 and the Maruti Suzuki Swift. At this position Ford has decided to add three new features to retain the keep the Figo attractive.

Ford is not in a desperate state now as it still managed to sell a respectable 5,000 units a month. But at this current market situation any incentive to the beleaguered buyer is a positive. The new features of the Figo are as follows.

Tilt Steering for ZXI and Titanium
USB Port for the music system in ZXI and Titanium variants
Alloy wheels for Titanium variant.

These new features will also help Ford keep the Figo fresh considering a new Figo will not be launched until 2014. Ford has said the features will be available on both petrol and diesel variants of the Figo.
