Toyota Celebrating Etios and Etios Liva Success

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has reported its sales figures for the month of November. The Japanese carmaker has claimed its sales have doubled to 13,956 units in November 2011. The two main reasons for this incredible sales jump are the Etios Sedan and the Etios Liva hatchback.

Toyota Kirloskar while acknowledging the contribution of the two new models has stated it had sold 5,242 vehicles in November 2010. Toyota had launched the Etios' petrol variant in 2010 and followed it with the Etios Liva. The diesel variants of the sedan and hatchback were launched earlier this year.

There is little doubt that these two cars have become very successful as they are now Toyota's entry level cars. These cars have been priced intelligently and the availability of both petrol and diesel engines make them very attractive.

Toyota has sold 3,943 units of the Etios and 4,328 units of the Etios Liva. The Innova, India's best selling MuV has registered 4,308 sales.
