Land Rover Set To Launch Evoque On Nov 4
The Range Rover Evoque is expected to be unveiled first at Jaguar Land Rover corporate showroom in Mumbai. The Rangie is touted to be the smallest SUV coming out from Land Rover. It is also the lightest and possibly the cleanest one too.
The Evoque will get plush and comfortable interiors. Finished in top notch leather and carbonfibre, the Evoque will definitely make you feel like sitting in a lounge. The seats are large and comfortable. The Evoque is only a five seater and rightly so as it is more of a city runabout that can do some off roading.
If you are looking at a serious off-roader from Land Rover, the Discovery 4 or Freelander 2 will be a better choice. Not that the Evoque is not suitable for off-roading. The options provided here are a little bit more cheaper than the Evoque.
The Evoque was displayed as a concept early last year and people were so impressed that the company received thousands of bookings even before it announced it will be building it. Demand for the car is so high that the first batch of production was booked even before the first car rolled out from Land Rover's plant in Britain.
The car is yet to be shown anywhere in India. It will be initially imported from Britain. But there are reports of Tata Motors planning to build the premium SUV in India itself
