Ferrari To Open Super Car Driving School Soon

India appears to be on the fast track to get more fast cars with the start of the First Indian Formula 1 Grand Prix. Ferrari, one of the most famous Formula 1 and sports car manufacturer has now expressed its wish to open super car driving schools and academies in India.

Ferrari boss Amedeo Felisa who attended the India launch of the FF sports car said the availability of a Formula 1 track made it possible for the Italian carmaker to set up its own super car driving school near Noida. He also said it could also start its own racing event at the circuit.

Mr Felisa unveiled the new FF four seater sports car herein Delhi. The Rs.3.42 crore car is the first Ferrari to get four wheel drive and four full sized seats. Ferrari has said it also plans to offer traing programmes to its customers.

Ferrari already offers such training to its customers in Europe and America. The Italian carmaker is not the first carmaker to be impressed by the Buddh International Circuit in Noida. Mercedes-Benz has also said it wants to open a driving academy.

Mr Felisa has said the circuit was impressive and hoped Fernando Alonso's third place finish at the race would help improve Ferrari's brand image in India. Ferrari's driving academy is expected to be open exclusively to Ferrari owners initially. It will be a golden opportunity for speed lovers to get an on hand experience and enjoy the thrill of driving a Ferrari.
