Volvo Eicher Trucks Price Increased

After the announcement of price hikes from Ashok Leyland and Tata, its Volvo-Eicher's turn to hike the prices. VECV(Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles) has increased the prices of its products owing to the raise of input costs as well as inflation.

The increase in prices are between 1.5 percent to 2 percent based on the vehicle models. Steel and rubber prices are a great factors in determining the prices of automobiles and hence price hike is inevitable.

Eicher has sold 2,966 heavy vehicles during the month of June which is a healthy 43 percent growth. Also, exports for June 2010 was a lower by 220 units.

Several tyremakers including Dunlop India, Falcon and Apollo Tyres have said they were looking to raise product prices.
