Toyota To Recover From Global Production Fall

By By: Vicky.in

The sale of cars from the global players has not yet recovered from its global production fall that occurred few months ago. In particular, Toyota is still on the troubled waters for the consecutive third month. Its sale in November had not been a good show, despite tremendous performance from its competitors Honda and Nissan. There has been a fall of 8.7% in Toyota's global sale from its sale of 656924 units sold in November 2009. However, the Toyota company received some good news in the outside production, where by it gained a rise of 0.3% due to increase in sale in South Africa and parts of Asia. The export volume fell by 9.4% while it was a fall of 35% in domestic market, mainly attributed to the withdrawal of subsidies by government for eco-cars.

Toyota is in the market with its premier vehicles like Prius and Corolla. The condition in the camps of Honda and Nissan has been satisfactory with Honda reporting its global sale of 317473 units making a rise by 5.4% in November. This had been the undisturbed growth for Honda due to high output in the regions of China and Asia. In China, Honda delivered 61955 units making the rise by 2.7% against its performance in 2009. Though the company received a thumping 71% rise in its export, its sale in domestic market received a jolt- a fall by 37%.

Whereas Nissan delivered 372106 units in November this year which indicated a rise by 19% and the November sales had been a record show. The company had been in the hot choice for its latest launch March small car and NV200 van. These two vehicles made the big entry into China where there had been an increase of production by 19% (91633 units). This compensated the fall of 8.6% to the US markets.
