Toyota Etios cars will reach the masses through 'Q' World in 15 cities across India

Kolkata people were eager to see the Etios car displayed in Topsel, Toyota's second dealership of the city. The Etios concept "Word First, India First" is creating awareness campaign to make people aware that Toyota is producing Etios car exclusively first for Indians and then for the entire world. Owing to the huge fan followers of Toyota in India, the Japanese car maker decided to plunge into mass car market and will launch its Etios hatchback car and sedan soon.

The Bengal's state capital has been a good business place for Toyota cars sales as Innova hold 14% of market share, Fortuner holds 47% of market share and Corolla Altis owns 14% of market share in the region.

Hiroshi Nakagawa, MD, Toyota Kirloskar Motors, inagurated the second Topsel Toyota dealership in Kolkata and mentioned that the company would like to entertain the car enthusiasts as well as potential customers from across India. Toyota will also have another dealer in Durgapur region by October 2010. This is part of the company's expansion plans. Kolkata has been a fruitful market for the Japanese car giant and hence will concentrate more on the customer feedback and after sales service so as to retain the good impression among the public. Toyota is set to increase the dealers to a 150 count by the end of 2010.

With the overwhelming responses during the "Toyota Etios Concept" revealed in the Delhi Auto Expo, the company is now taking the concept (or almost near production) cars directly to the customers through the Toyota "Q" World, scheduled in various cities namely, Calicut, Goa, Hyderabad, Vijaywada, Coimbatore, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Siliguri, Guwahati, Varanasi, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Jaipur, Indore and Surat during a period of 4 months. Along with the Etios cars, Newly launched Prado Diesel, Most popular vehicle in the SUV segment - Fortuner, Premiere Luxury Sedan- Camry, and the world"s top selling hybrid vehicle-Prius will also be displayed for the customers to touch and feel the world class cars.

Along with car displays, fun events are also planned to entertain the visitors in the Toyota stalls. The company has already displayed its Etios concept cars in 33 cities across the country during the last 4 months. Now with this second round, it will cover remaining important cities of India.
