Toyota Decreases In Its Production

By By: Vicky.in

The Japanese car maker, Toyota is facing the grim phase in its production spree with the volume falling down by 1.3 percent while the overall market has been undergoing gradual rise after hectic downfall. The fall is accounted on its year wise production figures and the cause for it is the sudden downfall in the production stint in Europe and North America. Toyota"s performance stands in contrast to the stabilizing mode of Honda and Nissan. These two companies have been blessed with the Chinese red carpet, as the nation has pushed the US behind it to become the largest market in the world. Toyota has revealed its statistical data for the year: there is a global reduction in its production (672604 units) by 1.3% of which the exact volume fall in Europe is 29.7 percent with 40630 units. This fall is the outcome of slackening occurred in Turkey and Britain.

In North America, the company faced a fall of 4.1 percent with 122649 units last month. This is the result of the closure of Toyota"s unit in California (a JV plant with GM). The contrasting picture evolved in the case of Honda Motor Corporation, which received a warm welcome in the market. Its production in September peaked to 328368 units at a rise of 9.2 percent , a rise happening for the 10th consecutive month. Honda delivered an additional 21.9 percent units in its homeland, thanks to the response allured to its fuel-efficient Fit subcompact.

The other Japanese car maker, Nissan, too has some cheer to share as it received a rise of 27.2 percent with 395658 units in the same month, which is incidentally its 20th consecutive month for the rise. In China too Nissan had a good stint in its production with an increase of 24.3 percent while its rise in the US is 31 percent.
