Tata Nano Superdrive in Mumbai
Wherever Nano went, people crowded around it as it stopped in iconic landmarks like the Bandra - Worli Sea Link and Haji Ali, the Gateway of India.
Nirmal Lifestyle Shoppers were enjoying the hands on touch and feel of the Nano and its loads of features, which made them praise Tata giving such a value for money car for the masses.
The first anniversary of Tata Nano, since its launch last year, was also celebrated as the company invited all Nano owners in Mumbai at the Taj President Hotel.
Nano SuperDrive will be a strong evidence for the car's solidity and durability.
Nano Superdrive will be flagged off from the company's Concorde Motors dealer's site and will make a route via 10 major cities. Three groups have been formed and each will cover a distance of 12000 kms in different directions.
The following are the cities of SuperDrive route. Surat, Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Bangalore, Kochi, Chennai in South. Cities like Jaipur, Chandigarh, Delhi and Agra in the north and the third team plans through Bhopal, Patna, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad. Each city vist will include the team's interaction with public in famous landmarks
SuperDrive is a month long journey and finally the teams will return to Mumbai on June 28th 2010. Nano has won several awards, the latest one being the Edison Awards, a prestigious award in USA, for the best new product.
