The 1100 acre manufacturing plant in Sanand is capable of producing 2.5 lakh Nanos per annum.
The company has also plans to boost up the production upto 5 lakh units per year if the situation demands.
Tata has the advantage of having most of its vendors manufacturing the Nano parts near the Sanand plant, thereby making Tata have full utilisation of time factor in assembling and also ensuring quality.
Its a great moment for all the Nano aspires of the country as soon Nano will be easily available as any other car. The Sanand plant will ease the delivery of already waiting customers of the first lot and will also make Nano available for new customers.
