Tata Nano Is In Trouble

Tata Nano is back in the news of trouble with a unit in Ahmedabad reporting a fire incident due to faulty cable connection. Despite the claims by the company"s technical flaw, the incidents of such concern raises the safety elements of the car. However, the Superdrive campaign for Nano is going on all over the country. The incident at Ahmedabad came from a unit of Nano which trouble with smoke coming after parking and a hum followed from the rear end near the engine. Seeing entire event, the owner expressed his sigh of relief. The company spokesman said the matter is on investigation and essential remedies will be implemented. He asserted that the car emitted smoke only and there was no incident of fire. This is seventh such incident involving Nano in a span of one year since its launch.

The earlier incidents exposed actual fire snag and the latest one is attributed to the fault in short circuit in switch component, said the company sources. In a bid to assess the situation of the earlier cases, the company deputed a team of 20 engineers and forensic experts for assuring the safety of Nano. From then on every piece coming out of the plant undergoes a thorough safety check and the company has convened personal meeting with the owners of the car for deliberating on safety norms. The company takes the positive note quoting the 62000 units delivered so far all over the country. The Nano Superdrive clinched 15000km covering 36cities in 26 days without any flaw.
