Hyderbad has got Jaguar and Land Rover Showroom now!

Tata Motors and Inline4 Motors have opened the fourth dealership for JLR(Jaguar and Land Rover) cars in Hyderabad. Mumbai has got two outlets for JLR and the country's capital has got one dealership. India"s luxury car market is still small with annual sales of 12,000, but growing at a fast pace.

In the function were present, Mr. S. Krishnan, Senior VP (Commercial division), Passenger Car Business Unit, Mr T. Vinayak Ravi Reddy, the Deccan Chronicle Holdings Ltd Vice Chairman inaugurating the function and also, Mr Rohit Suri, head of luxury car division of Tata Motors.

The Senior VP, Mr S. Krishnan mentioned that Tata Motors has identified Hyderabad as one of the key markets where 500 luxury cars are sold per annum. JLR, through its dealerships will be offering its entire portfolio of cars through the Hyderabad dealerships.

Tata Motors will be expanding its network to other metros soon and match other luxury car makers' number of dealerships. As of now, 12 outlets of Benz and BMW are in the country. But Tata Motors have only 4 right now. Also, according to Rohit Suri, totally 200 Land Rovers and 80 Jaguars were sold last year in the country. So, the sales for luxury vehicles put forth a promising future for JLR.

According to statistics, the luxury car market in India sells 12000 cars per annum, but has showed strong increase in sales in the recent years.
