October, A Reaping Season For Tata Motors
The sale volume of Nano was 3065 units making a rise by 2 percent while that of Indica was high by 1 percent with the sale of 9732 units. The ranges in Indigo showed the sale of 8292 units making a rise by 69 percent from the ones in October 2009, while that of Sumo, Aria and Safari saw a rise of 38 percent with 3316 units.
The commercial vehicle sector too witnessed a growth in the Indian market with the sale of 34329 units against 30451 units in October 2009 making the rise by 12.40 percent. The sale of LCVs during October 2010 was up by 11 percent with the sale of 20689 units and the medium and heavy vehicles saw a sale volume of 13640 units making a rise by 14 percent from that of the same period of last year. The export market was also too good for Tata with the growth of two fold as it crossed 5950 units against 2852 units in October 2009.
