Tata Motors To Raise Indica & Indigo Price

By By: Vicky.in

As per media reports assessment, Tata Motors is considering significant hike in the prices of Indica and Indigo to protect its profit margins which are getting eroded by rising input costs. Recently Hyundai has hiked its car prices.

The new prices of Tata cars could come to effect by coming October month. A media reports quotes the internal communication which has been circulated within Tata Motors officials which says, "Significant price increase in Indicas and Indigos from October 1." However there is no official communication from Tata Motors.

Hyundai Motor India which sells cars like Verna, Santro, i10, i20 and Sonata effected an increase of up to 1.2 per cent from September 1 across the models. The country's largest car-maker, Maruti Suzuki, had anyway effected an increase in prices, driven by high commodity prices, in August.
