M&M launched Yuvraj-215, the smallest & cheapest tractor

Mahindra"s Farm Tractor division has launched a new small and cheap tractor, YUVRAJ-215 in Gujarat. According to the Senior Vice President Sales, Mahindra & Mahindra Farm Equipment sector Avinash Patankar said that the launch of mini-tractor, Yuvraj-215 makes Mahindra, the first company to launch the smallest and cheapest tractor of India. The targeted customers are the farmers who hold two to five acres of land.

Mahindra is entering into a contract manufacturing agreement with Deepak Diesels Private Limited (DDPL) which will exclusively be producing Yuvraj-215 in Rajkot factory. Mahindra had been pioneer in Farm Equipment and Tractor Division. All of its tractors are huge hits and Yuvraj-215 is a customized low cost product catering the needs of small farmers.
