Rolls Royce Pinning On Indian Market
Rolls Royce is pinning on the hope of grabbing the growing economy and purchase power of the target customers. The company"s Manager for Asia Pacific said there has been full capacity on date and the Indian car market has been responding well there by becoming the third largest in the region. Of the three markets in the region, China has the largest numbers with 8 dealerships who sell Rolls Royce in 100s, followed by Japan which has two dealers. In India too the company has two dealers, in Mumbai and in Delhi selling 5 ranges from its stable models - Phantom(Rs3.75 crore - Rs4.25 crore) and Ghost (Rs2.8 crore).
Rolls Royce anticipates more number of sale in Ghost this year- 50 units-. The global sale volume for Rolls Royce for the past ten months was 2007 units against 531 units in the corresponding period of 2009, when the net sale for the previous year stood at 1002 units.
