Porsche Cayenne Launched In India
Porsche Cayenne is available at Porsche's centre in Delhi, Mumbai and the company is set to open 5 new centers at Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Ahmedabad.
The new Cayenne features a completely new exterior and newly defined luxury interior. Porsche has optimized Cayenne engines to a maximum by reducing CO2 emissions of up to 26 percent and a reduction in fuel consumption of up to 23 percent less. This car clearly brings a new dimension to the SUV market.
The Cayenne Hybrid has an electric motor along with the regular engine. This two drive units are connected to one another by a separator clutch. Given a desired slow speed, for example in a residential area, the driver in Cayenne can cover short distances on electric power alone at a speed of up to 60 km/h, free of emissions and hardly any noise.
Cayenne is offered in 5 variants. The first variant, Cayenne - Rs. 65.82 lakhs is powered by 3.6 V6 that produces 300 HP, the Cayenne S which is priced at Rs. 78.62 lakh is powered by 4.8 V8 engine with a peak power of massive 400 HP. The Cayenne S Hybrid with Rs. 75.46 lakhs is powered by 47 HP Electric Motor generates a Total Output of 380 horse power.
The Cayenne Diesel costs Rs. 59.22 lakhs and has the 3.0 V6 engine under the hood producing 240 HP while the Cayenne Turbo priced at Rs. 1.27 crore is pulled by the massive 4.8 V8 biturbo engine with the peak output of mind blowing 500 horse power.
