Hitch In Delivering Nissan Micra Overseas

Nissan"s venture into enter the global market with its Micra has seen a hitch by way of a glitch in the vehicle. Though, not to be treated as a major one, the flaw has been caused by way of a mild noise around the pump area during the moments of idle. The flaw was noticed in select vehicles during the test time in the lots dispatched to Europe markets. Nissan has taken remedial measures once to set right but it is not like a recall, and the correction was carried out by changing oil specifications to suit the local climates.

The official of the company said the issue does not warrant any recall, decline in sales or affecting the performance. He further said there is no cause to worry about the reputation of the company nor the quality of the vehicle. Yet the move by Nissan to export is made to a jinx as the company had devised its plans to export shortly, quoting the cause as an engineering flaw.

The company negated any manufacturing defect on this matter. India has been made a hub for Nissan"s export venture for its Micra from which it would reach more than 100 countries including Europe, Middle East, and Africa. After the formal launch of Micra in India, Nissan"s initial target is 1.1 lakh units of export market .
