Nissan Strengthens Its Dealership Network In India

Nissan has opened five new showrooms, Tri-star Nissan - Ludhiana, Sterling Nissan - Gurgaon, EVM Nissan - Calicut, Dada Nissan - Jalandhar and Silicon Nissan - Surat. The strategy and approach of Nissan syncs with its growth plans and will achieve the long term commitment to offer its quality service standards to guarantee the buyer's utmost satisfaction.
With the new dealerships, Nissan has got 15 showrooms across the country that includes 13 states. According to Kiminobu Tokuyama, the CEO and MD of Nissan Motors India Private Limited, the company has been aggressively increasing their dealership network and the opening of the five new dealership is in line with the company's constant endeavour to increase the foot print and to provide total customer satisfaction with high-quality service standards.
Nissan joins hands with Hover Automotive India, the firm that does the marketing, sales, after-sales service and dealer development arm. The firm is getting ready its dealer network structure to support the demands of the domestic market. In countries like India, waiting period for the automobile is crucial and if there is more delay, people tend to go for other brands.
Nissan India, plans to open another five new dealerships in Bhubaneswar, Navi Mumbai, Jaipur, Bhopal and Trivandrum in July 2010, thus taking it to 20 operational dealerships in line with its target and aims in making 30 dealerships by the end of 2010.
The portfolio of Nissan consists of its luxury Sedan Teana, the premium SUV, X-Trail and Nissan's sports car, the 370Z. Nissan's first locally made global hatchback -New Nissan Micra is also in display across all the 15 showrooms and buyers can have hands on experience Micra and book in advance.
Nissan Micra has already got more than 1500 customers who have booked the car and waiting to drive home their Micra.
