Nissan To Deliver New Nissan Leaf Vehicles

The battery will yield a charge of 160km range emitting the exact zero emission level in normal and suburban roads of US LA4 mode. However, the commercial launch of this LEAF in Australia will be in 2012. The Victorian deal will involve a wide range of drivers for this electric version keeping in mind the environment and on road conditions.
The possible drivers of this trial electric versions will be household operators, government fleets, electricity providers, distributors and retailers. The deal is a follow up of an MoU between Nissan and the Victorian government for the zero emission run in the next five years. Nissan will be delivering the LEAF to the US and Japan in the year end and will be exported to Europe next year. During the ensuing Sydney Motor Show and in the Melbourne All Energy Conference there will be a medium-sized hatch back on this zero emission model.
For Nissan this LEAF will be the first in its series of electric vehicles others being a delivery van, personal commuter car and a luxury version.
