Nano Can Be Bought Without Advanced Booking

TATA Motors contrives to eliminate booking Nano, the world"s cheapest car, as the production is ramping up at a recently-opened manufacturing plant in Gujarat. The firm will start foreswear booking in Maharashtra and expand this to other regions of India in the following months.

Tata Nano was launched on March 23rd 2009 and company elected 1 lakh customers out of a random lot. Due to the land problems, Tata has to migrate to Gujarat and started setting up the factory. Now, the Sanand plant is capable of producing 2.5 lakh units.

So far more than 40,000 Nano cars are running on Indian roads and most of them were produced by the Pantnagar plant of Tata Motors. In 2010 alone, Tata has sold 23,779 units. Tata Motors has been storming up yield at Sanand and destines to achieve 20,000 units per month by December. The plant has the capability to make 2.5 lakh units which can be expanded up to 3.5 lakh units.
