Mitsubishi has announced that it will increase the price of Outlander, the recently launched SUV of the Japanese maker by 2 percent. The price hike, however will be implemented from September 2010. The company clearly stated that the new prices are not a hike, but just the secession of introductory offer. In May 2010, Outlander was launched and priced at Rs. 19.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
According to Mr Vijay Kumar, Business Head and Vice President of Hindustan Motors, the Outlander price will be increased because the earlier price was an introductory one.
