Mercedes Will Launch SLS AMG Soon
Attracting a full 110 percent of import duty, Mercedes SLS AMG will cost Rs. 2 crore. The car's cost may vary depending on the customisation that the prospective buyers seek in their SLS AMG.
While displaying the model at the 2010 Auto Expo, Dr. Aulbur said, "The new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG dazzles with its purist design, intelligent lightweight construction and superior handling dynamics, and is bound to cause a sensation in the super sports car segment.
The new SLS AMG is nothing short of a masterpiece by Mercedes-AMG GmbH. As it"s the first completely independent developed vehicle, the super sports car is the highlight in the company's, more than 40 year's history. And yes, it'll burn its rubber on Indian roads too! But only when it"s right-hand drive versions are rolled out."
The SLS AMG made its debut in the Frankfurt Motor Show during September 2009. The production of the SLS AMG commenced in Sindelfingen, which is the largest production plant of the Mercedes Benz.

AMG's top speed is 317 kmph and reaches 0 to 100 km/hr in just 3.8 second, mileage is 13.2 litres for a 100 km.
