Mercedes Benz Sold 573 Cars In August 2010

Mercedes-Benz India, the luxury car maker had made a record breaking sales of 573 cars in a single month on August 2010. This is a double fold sales hike when compared to 270 units sold in August 2009.

The total sales of Mercedes Benz cars during the first 8 months of this year stood at 3,497 units which is a whopping 84.15 percent sales growth as against the 1,899 cars sold during the same period last year.

Mercedes Benz has been very successful in launching many new models in the recent months. Mercedes Benz sales volume has highly hiked by E Class. This car in our country, also sells C Class, S Class sedans and M-Class, GL-Class Sports Utility Vehicles.

According to Mercedes Benz India Managing Director and CEO Wilfried Aulbur, exciting products and exciting ways to showcase such products have been the German luxury car maker's constant endeavor.

He added that the company's initiatives in 2010 have been targeted at customers from large as well as medium and small cities. He also stated that Mercedes Benz India is performing strongly in sales during 2010 because of customer focused initiatives.
