Maruti Anticipates Sale Rise By 31%
The top most car manufacturer in India, Maruti Suzuki said that it is expecting its sales to rise by 31% this financial year. Maruti Suzuki bases its claim on the growing Asian economy and demand for its products. Earlier in September this year, maruti suzuki had indicated that it might meet the sales rise by 18% by selling 1.2 million units.
Maruti Suzuki"s CEO said the output for this month will be comparatively low as there will be closure of facilities for annual maintenance. Maruti is on its partnership with Suzuki on holding 54.2 by selling nearly 50% cars in the domestic market despite facing competition from Hyundai and Ford India. According to SIAM, the whole of the Indian car industry would see the sales rise by 18-20% during this fiscal.
