Mahindra Plans To Launch New Auto Models

Mahindra is making every step to achieve its goal of becoming a Global auto maker. M&M has unveiled its plans to launch new vehicles in Sri Lanka's automotive market. According to Mahindra Group's Vice Chairman and Managing Director Anand Mahindra, the company is keeping up with the long term plans for Sri Lanka and soon going to enhance the present portfolio in the market by launching several new products which include the sub 1 tonne pick up 'Maxximo' and Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCV).

Mahindra, which recently bought the majority stakes of Reva Electric car company, is studying feasibility to launch the electric car Reva in Sri Lanka in future. Mahindra' Gio, the mini-truck has gained positive response in Sri Lanka market.
Mahindra's products aren't new to Sri Lankan soil. The Indian auto major has established its base in Sri Lanka as it sells tractor ranges and utility vehicles for more than a decade. Mahindra's Automotive Sector has sold over 4,000 vehicles in Sri Lanka so far.
