Soon New Jaguar Models
Tata Motors, the largest vehicle maker of the country, which owns the Jaguar luxury car brand is mulling to unwrap new models. The new models may include the station wagon and a roadster as the global economic rebounds promises good demand. According to the company's annual report for the year ended in March 2010, which was posted on its website, Ratan Tata has stated that Jaguar is also considering an entry-level model.
Jaguar Land Rover was bought by Tata in 2008 from Ford. During the last two quarters, the sales of Jaguar and Land Rover cars across the globe has increased considerably. Owing to the demand, Carl-Peter Forster, the CEO of Tata has got plans to commence manufacturing Jaguar cars in China in order to expand its business in the emerging markets.
