An Electrifying Show By Jaguar
Jaguar made a glittering performance at the Paris Motor Show with its electric car. The vehicle with a quartet of electric engine has the output capacity of 780 horsepower at a speed of 330 km/hours. The car is fitted with jet stream silver shine of aluminum body, aerodynamic facility, extended front grille and ventilated brake cooling. At the rear is the vertical control surface in higher speed levels for direct air flow to the rear wheels. This will enhance stability for the wheels. In addition there is a TFT touch screen display, called Jaguar Co-Pilot in the dashboard for information sources. The driver"s cabin gets the imminent data of status and rpm of the two gas turbines.
The charge range is 110 km/ charge despite the less weight turbine engines capable of 900 km on lithium-ion batteries. Jaguar has fitted a miniature turbine blade, designed with the technical assistance from Bladon Jets, which has the efficiency to increase the compression of micro-gas turbines. The average power output from each of these gas-turbines is 70 kw on 80000 rpm, at the emission of 28 gms of CO2 /km. Jaguar demonstrated the performance of this Eco-friendly version for the acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.
