Hyundai Santa Fe-Bookings Pouring In!

The Korean car maker Hyundai will now be quite immensely satisfied with the response meted to its ensuing SUV Santa Fe, which has already procured 535 bookings in two weeks. The company"s MD&CEO was full of enthusiasm to note this that the company is wholly proud to have such a warm reception to its luxury SUV. The response to this global glitter indicates matchless love and affection poured towards it, he added, aiming for good number of export next year.

Hyundai asked for Santa Fe bookings on 18 - 30 October 2010 for limited bookings for the reason that the car is to be imported as CBUs from its Korean plant. Further, the car has received thumping response by way of bookings globally and to meet all these demands, the company has restricted the bookings for the Indian customers.

Prior to the launch the company had scheduled to sell around 500-600 units a month which now seems to increase based on the response posed to it. The cost of this luxury vehicle is Rs2095000 for 2WD model and Rs2295000 for 4WD model. The Indian market will get this luxury SUV Santa Fe fitted with a 2.2L CRDi engine to offer the very best in power execution- 197ps/4000rpm with an amazing torque capacity of 42.9kg/1800-2500rpm. Also available will be 6-speed manual transmission aided by an optional 2WD / 4WD to deliver the maximum output matching the class of standards. The car is tuned to run at the mileage of 14.66km/lit/ as per ARAI certification.
