HMT New Tractor In Agro Tech 2010 Fair

The tractor maker in India, HMT said it is driving into the four wheel segment by launching three new models at the CII Agro Tech 2010 fair. The introductions are HMT 5022 RX, HMT 4022 PS, and HMT 6522-4WD. The 4 wheel drive of HMT is quite common in the regions of the US and Europe for deriving more traction power than from the conventional two wheel drive tractors. The gearbox in this 4wheel drive is smoothed along with built-in power for steering in front drive axle.

The HMT tractor has cera metallic heavy duty dry dual clutch designed to give life and trouble-free drive. HMT 5022 RX is fitted with power steering aided by balanced cylinder yielding enhanced maneuverability. The HMT tractor has oil immersed disc brakes providing better safety and extended life time, low turning radius, bigger front and rear tyres for prolonged traction power and attractive sheet metal styling.

In addition the company is stepping into the dedicated farm implement devised by its team of engineers, called HMT Rotavator-50. This is a multi-utility implement offering optimum plough and absorption of plant residue in addition to penetrating entry into the hard soil on less horse power pulling. The implement is showcased at the fair.
