Upcoming Green Cars To Run With Tree In Gas Tank

Green Cars
Future green cars will run by putting a tree in the gas tank, looking at forest biomass for raw materials in the development of green bio fuels and chemicals. This is what researchers meant by 'green cars'

Dr. In-Gyu Choi, associate professor from the department of forest science at Seoul National University, will coordinate a session at the 2010 IUFRO World Congress. He said that forest biomass is a renewable source of energy , abundant and carbon-neutral. This significant serves as a future source of green energy and green chemicals should not be wasted.

As the upcoming session will involve itself with "look-ahead" science focusing on subjects such as innovative technologies in order to convert forest biomass into bio-alcohol, synthetic gasoline and diesel as well as the future market possibilities for forest-based green chemicals to be used as the raw materials for biodegradable bio-plastics.

Also plastics from biomass are made in the same way as petroleum-based plastics, and are manufactured cheaper with better standard with the exception of water resistance and longevity.

Thus Eco-efficiency and this session aims at the delivery of competitively priced goods and services that satisfy human needs and improve quality of life, while bringing down ecological impacts and resource use intensity to a level of compatible with the earth's estimated carrying capacity.
