Get A Maruti Alto For 2 Lakhs

By providing the largest selling car for the cheaper price, the biggest car company in India can empower its position more, especially in the aspects of 800 CC cars.
The expected discount will make a difference of 30 percent for the new costumers. The experts think that it will be a rivalry for even the cheapest car Tata Nano, as Nano's price already approaches Rs. 1. 5 lakh.
The new strategy of Maruti will be a challenge for the upcoming low cost cars including Nissan Micra, Hyundai 800, Chevrolet Spark, etc.
The low cost version of Maruti Alto comes with the MPF1 petrol engine of K series, compliant with BS-IV emission norms. The engine will be the same as that of A-Star. But the company will try to cut down some features like body-colored bumpers and expensive seats, in order to keep the price to bare minimum. There will be some minor cost effective changes with the interiors, too.
Maruti 800 was phased out because of the emission norms and the 2 lakh Alto will help to fill the gap created by that, thinks the experts. The car will be stylish looking than Maruti 800, where as the price remains the same.
