GM India Posts 34 Percent Sales Growth

Among the 7,941 units sold, almost equal numbers of Spark (2,481 units) and Beat (2,475 units) have been sold. The Chevrolet people-mover Tavera stood at 1,438 units while the hot sedan of Chevy, the Cruze found 724 new homes. 240 units of hatchback Aveo U-VA and 325 units of Chevrolet Aveo and 82 units of Optra are the other numbers that helped GM to achieve the 34 percent sales growth.
According to Mr. P. Balendra, VP of GM India, the car-maker is so excited by the continued overwhelming response to Chevrolet Beat, Spark and Cruze. Adding to the excitement, he said that, the introduction of best-in-segment cars from the 300 series, increase in customer outreach through distribution network, GM India's unique value proposition like Chevrolet Cashless Ownership offer and the promise to deliver quality and performance are the factors that have led to the impressive sales.
