Time To Say "Bye Bye" To Fiat Palio.

By Sruthi Appu

Fiat India is planning to phase out its hatchback Palio, due to the diminishing sales figures for the past couple of years. Known for top class performance, Fiat Palio was once a competent car to Tata Indica. But then, things have changed and the market is flooded with lots of "value for money" hatchbacks.

Fiat plans in bringing a small car in the sub -Punto range to be priced between Rs. 3 lakh to Rs. 4 lakh. Fiat's launch of a powerful diesel with 90 Horse Powers for its premium hatchback Grande Punto, illustrates the company's plans in banking on newer cars like Punto and Linea.
