Fiat To Re-Launch 500 More Features
Fiat is all set to re-launch its iconic compact car Cinquecento, know as the Fiat 500 worldwide in a couple of months in India. Fiat's 500's arch rival Volkswagen Beetle has been received well by the Indian luxury compact segment buyers. As of now, 300 Beetles run in India while only 68 Fiat 500s were sold out.
According to Rajeev Kapoor, Fiat Auto India, Retro cars with distinctive looks are a big hit and that"s what Fiat would capture in Fiat's new campaign to be rolled out in a few months. Fiat has put a cap over the launch of its luxury cars like the Bravo sedan and now eyeing on re-launching Cinquecento.
The re launch will bring the Fiat 500 with more variants as well as better options for customization to attract more buyers in the market. Fiat 500 costs over Rs. 14 lakhs while Volkswagen Beetle costs more than Rs. 20 lakhs, hence Fiat 500 has a clear price advantage.
