Tata Motors to supply 1800 cars to CWG

Tata Motors has achieved success in sponsorship deal to provide 1800 new cars to the organizers of Common Wealth Games to transport athletes in this 12 day event. Tata Motors has become the Logistic Solution sponsors for CWG event.

Tata Motors will provide new cars for the event and take back the cars after the 12 day event. Then, Tata Motors, through its “Tata Motors Assured" (the used car program of Tata motors) will sell the cars with a depreciation of 20 percent from the car"s price. Hence, Tata Motors is getting the logistics sponsors rights for about Rs. 30 crore. The 1800 cars consists of 1600 Indica cars and Indica cars together, 100 Sumo Grande MPVs and 50 Tata Safari SUVs, 20 Tata Wingers and 30 trucks for players and organizers transport.
