One More Record Auto Sale In September
The sale of domestic passenger cars hiked to 1,69,082 units at 30.38 percent increase in September against 1,29,684 units in the same month of 2009. The sale in this September stands as the ever best beating the one in August (1,60,794 units). The sale of motorcycle in September was 7,78,532 units at an increase of 15.50 percent from the one in the same month last year (6,73,893 units). However, the ever best was in August - 7,27,542 units.
The net sale of two wheelers stood at 10,05,162 units in September at an increase of 19.93 percent from the one of September 2009 (8,38,152 units). The ever best was in August with the sale of 9,57,304 units. The commercial vehicle sale was up by 29.56 percent with the volume of 59,455 units against 45,889 units in September 2009. In August 2010,Maruti Suzuki scored a remarkable sale volume of 81,060 units making an increase of 28.52 percent from September 2009. Hyundai witnessed a growth of 14.20 percent ( sale of 31,751 units in September) and Tata Motors sold an increased units of 20,561 units at 30.12 percent growth. Hero Honda got the increase rate of 6.19 percent at the sale of 3,97,085 units compared to the previous year"s same period. Bajaj tasted the sale increase of 26.27 percent (2,30,945 units) while TVS got sale of 63,698 units making an increase of 22.90 percent. Honda Motorcycle got its sale of bikes up by 86,52 percent with the sale of 54,024 units in September this year.
