Audi posts 46% growth in August 2010 sales

Audi, the German luxury car maker has sold 250 cars in August 2010 which is 46% more than 171 cars sold in August 2009. According to Michael Preschke, Head of Audi India, having successfully surpassed last year's annual sales performance, Audi India is confident that this consistent growth through 2010 will help the car-maker achieve its goals for this year.

Audi has sold 1,876 cars during Jan-Aug 2010 period, which, when compared to the same period last year, is a growth of 66%. Audi India is strengthening its dealership networks in India. Audi will open showrooms in Kolkata and Bangalore. Audi offers A4, A6, A8, Q5, Q7, TT and the R8, super sports car in the luxury car segment. Audi, is facing stiff competition from Benz and BMW in India.
